I enjoy what I do. Not only do I get thorough satisfaction from seeing a happy client at the end of the project, but I enjoy every minute of each project - I'm always learning something new. I am very determined to solve complex issues with creative solutions while pushing the limits of what I can do.
I have always been interested in web development, but never had the educational background to successfully implement it. I was fortunate enough to get some tremendous support from friends and family while I went back to school to study web design and web development at CDIABU (Center for Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University). At CDIA I gained a strong foundation of knowledge to build upon. The true test for myself (and my peers) has been how we've all decided to continue our education on our own time. I relish in the challenge!
Web design has become somewhat of an obsession to me. Each project I've worked on has been more complex than the one before. I enjoy the challenge, and when I push the limits of my ability, I can sometimes surprise myself with what I can discover. In my previous career(s), I never once got the satisfaction at the end of the day from WORK than I do as a designer. I plan on continuing to grow my knowledge and skills for a long time.
To this point, as a freelancer, my client base has consisted primarily of individuals, small businesses, and non-profit organizations. As I begin to harness more and more of the power of a CMS (like Wordpress or Expression Engine), the more I would like to start working on even larger projects than I have to this point. My ideas are always fresh and unique, and I'm confident I bring logical and precise idea's to the table.
